Thanks to a local canal, the enclosures passed the test with flying colours (well, grey actually, to help blend in with the colour of the launcher).

Producing such a special enclosure in stainless steel hasn’t been easy. We have had to source special seals and locks to help cope with the extreme environment.

To help make the project go as smoothly as possible, various meetings were held at our customer’s premises with our designers. It was essential that we understood the project fully and agreed about the specifications before we started any drawings.
We found these meetings to be very useful and often encourage our Production Team to visit customer sites. At Eldon, we believe establishing good communications is the key to any successful long-term relationship.
