First Projects for new Eldon Power System in Sweden

I am always excited at the launch of a new product, because it not only gives you an opportunity to introduce it to existing customers, but sometimes gives you the chance to attack new markets, where perhaps you didn’t have something to offer before.
This has certainly been the case with the launch of the new Eldon Power System which replaces MCL.
Although Eldon Power System is very new for Eldon and me, I can already see this innovative new product will open many new doors for us in .
We have just completed two projects for Eldon Power System in , one was for an industrial application, and the other was for a new shopping centre.
Only has a population of 9.2M people, although the economy is very strong at the moment, and the government is currently investing billions of dollars into promoting renewable energy and energy efficiency.
 The Swedish engineering sector accounts for over 50% of the countries output and exports, with telecommunications, automotive and pharmaceutical industries being of major importance.
These are all key factors to ’s future economic growth, which will also generate numerous opportunities for our new Eldon Power System over the next few years.
The significant difference with the new product is that it is not only available in a kit form as well as fully assembled, but is has been designed as a truly “open system”. The open system gives the user tremendous flexibility, because they are not tied to having to use one particular manufacturer of components, they can use just about anyone’s!
Our panel builder who was build the industrial and shopping centre projects was so impressed with the new system that they are thinking about adopting Eldon Power System as their company standard. They like the construction of the system, and found they saved time on the shop floor during production, which means they save money.
Although we offered them as much support as they needed during the project, the customer is very confident that they will not need any future help, because the system is so simple and easy to put together.
The system was designed with the user in mind, and also to provide maximum space, mounting combinations and overall flexibility.
I am quietly confident about the future of the Eldon Power System in , because I think it fulfills not only today’s requirements, but also is flexible enough to keep up with future technologies.
Eldon’s new low voltage switchgear enclosure is available in heights from 1800 to 2200U, widths from 400 to 1200U and 600 U deep.
