EDCH, Design improvement
In line with our current policy for supplying cutting edge products, Eldon is pleased to announce additional enhancements to our existing EDCH range.
Taking on board feedback from our customers for an increase in the static load for patch racks, without affecting the current amount of cable space, Eldon has re-designed the EDCH depth profile, supplied with every ElRack® patch panel. We believe this is a significant benefit to the user, and will further enhance the already popular ElRack® range.
The maximum supported static load for patch solutions has increased from 200kg to an impressive 400kg, although as we said before, the existing cable space remains the same!
Furthermore, the "click and fit" mounting system has also been introduced to the EDCH range. Using the "click and fit" profile makes life a lot easier for any installer, and allows single handed mounting of the profile. The cable management system is on the same level, and therefore any fibre optic cables will not be bent or damaged during installation.
Like all new developments introduced with the ElRack® system, these changes do not affect racks that are already installed, as you can easily retrofit the new profile if required.
