Affordable Solution for Home Connectivity Ready for Market
It’s no secret that trying to store and maintain the connections for the plethora of telephone, computer and home theatre equipment that has become ubiquitous in homes across the globe is a frustrating, time-consuming proposition for the great majority of users.
Leveraging its decades of experience developing and manufacturing electrical and telecommunications enclosures for industry, Eldon has developed a simple and easy-to-use connectivity solution designed for the home, home office and small businesses.
 
Eldon’s Netbox provides a safe, affordable, enclosed operating environment for electronics equipment and both wireless and cabled routers. The Netbox from Eldon enables cable television, internet and telephone signals to be routed to a broad array of locations in any home through the use of four patch panels ready to hook up to RJ45 connectors. Each patch panel offers eight holes for Keystone, 3-M or AMP jacks. This means there are 32 possible points of connection for each Netbox. CET products can also be easily connected through Netbox.
“The Netbox is a central connectivity point for electronic equipment that keeps it safe from dust and electrical shock. The system essentially functions as a kind of docking station, easing the routing of any kind of electronic signals—television, computer or telephone— to anywhere in a given residence,” said Frank Erlandsson, Technical Support Installation Products at Eldon.
Designed as an inexpensive flat pack unit onto which a slit pattern has been stamped, Eldon’ Netbox can be quickly and easily assembled by any installer of home theater or home office computer networks in a home, home office or small business. The unit protects sensitive computer equipment while making connectivity a snap throughout any residence or place of business.
